Aura Live Now
Creator Guidelines
Effective and last updated September 14, 2026
Who these guidelines are for
These Creator Guidelines apply to everyone approved to stream on Aura Live Now ("Aura"). They work together with the Terms of Service and the Community Guidelines, which every creator must follow. Aura is an 18+ platform, and you must be at least 18 to stream.
Aura is currently in beta, and creator features may change as the platform develops.
Creator approval
You must be approved before you can stream. Approval may be reviewed and may be withdrawn at any time, including for serious or repeated policy violations. Approval is not permanent and is not a promise of continued access.
You are responsible for what you broadcast
As a creator, you are responsible for everything shown, said or played on your stream — including content from guests you invite. Make sure you understand the rules before you go live.
Content you may not broadcast
- Nudity or sexually explicit content. Aura is not an adult-content platform.
- Harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, fraud or illegal activity.
- Impersonation of another person or misleading claims about your identity.
- Copyrighted material — such as music, films, shows, sports or other people's broadcasts — unless you have the appropriate rights or permission to use it.
Your account
Aura allows one account per person. Do not share your creator account credentials with anyone, and do not let another person stream on your account.
Your room and your Moderators
You may set extra rules for your own room, but creator room rules can never override the Aura Community Guidelines.
You may appoint and remove Moderators using Aura's tools. Moderators can help you manage your room, but you remain responsible for your room even when Moderators assist. Use the mute, remove, block and report tools whenever you need them.
Recording and copying
Unauthorized screen recording or copying of streams may violate Aura policy, and Aura provides entry controls, blocking and reporting tools to help you manage your audience. However, no platform can technically guarantee that another person will never capture what you broadcast. Stream only what you are comfortable sharing.
Enforcement
Creator access may be suspended or removed for serious or repeated violations of the Terms, the Community Guidelines or these Creator Guidelines. How Aura enforces its rules is described in the Community Guidelines.
