Community Guidelines
You must be at least 18 to use Aura — to create an account, stream, chat, follow, send or receive gifts, or moderate. Being 18+ does not mean explicit content is allowed. Aura is not an adult-content platform.
These guidelines apply everywhere on Aura. Creators may add extra rules for their own rooms, but creator rules can never override Aura Community Guidelines.
Nudity & explicit sexual content
Aura is 18+, but it is not an adult-content platform.
- · No nudity or pornography
- · No sexual acts, simulated sexual acts or masturbation
- · No sexual services or solicitation
- · No intentionally sexually explicit broadcasts
Sexual exploitation
Zero tolerance. Accounts are removed immediately.
- · No sexual exploitation of any kind
- · No grooming or predatory behaviour
- · No nonconsensual intimate content
- · No sexual content involving minors, in any form
Harassment & bullying
Everyone should be able to take part without being targeted.
- · No targeted harassment or stalking
- · No repeated unwanted contact
- · No serious intimidation
- · No unwanted sexual harassment
- · Do not encourage others to attack a person
Hate
Attacks on who someone is are never allowed.
- · No hateful attacks based on protected characteristics
- · No dehumanising abuse or slurs
- · No hateful symbols or coordinated hate campaigns
Threats & violence
Aura is not a place to threaten or glorify harm.
- · No credible threats of violence
- · No encouragement of serious violence
- · No intentionally displaying extreme graphic violence
Scams & fraud
Protect the community's money and trust.
- · No phishing or malicious links
- · No fraudulent giveaways
- · No impersonation for financial gain
- · No financial scams or manipulating users into fraudulent transactions
Privacy & doxxing
Private information stays private.
- · Do not reveal someone's home address or phone number
- · Do not reveal precise or current location
- · Do not share private financial information
- · Do not share other sensitive personal information without permission
Spam & manipulation
Keep rooms readable and rankings honest.
- · No bot spam or repetitive advertising
- · No malicious links
- · No fake engagement
- · No attempts to manipulate Aura's systems
Dangerous or serious illegal activity
Aura may not be used to cause real-world harm.
- · Do not facilitate serious criminal activity
- · Do not intentionally endanger other people
Ban evasion
A suspension or block must be respected.
- · Do not create or use another account to get around an Aura suspension
- · Do not use another account to get around a creator block
How Aura enforces the rules
Warning
A private notice explaining what broke the rules.
Content removal
A stream, clip or message is taken down.
Temporary restriction
Chat, gifting or streaming paused for a period.
Temporary suspension
The account is locked for a set time.
Monetization restriction
Gifting or earnings paused while under review.
Permanent ban
The account is removed from Aura.
Aura does not use a rigid three-strike system. Enforcement depends on:

- · Context around what happened
- · Any previous violation history
- · Risk to other people on Aura
Aura may skip intermediate steps for serious violations.
Who can take action
Creator / Room owner
- · Assign and remove Moderators
- · Delete messages, warn, timeout, mute and block viewers
- · Configure blocked words, chat filters and slow mode
- · Configure follower-only chat and whether links are allowed
- · Temporarily pause chat
- · Report users to Aura and review who they've blocked
- ✕ Issue platform-wide Aura bans
Moderator
- · Delete chat messages
- · Warn viewers
- · Issue temporary timeouts
- · Mute viewers from chat
- · Block viewers from this creator's room
- · Report users or content to Aura
- ✕ Access creator earnings or payout information
- ✕ See private supporter spending
- ✕ See private creator information or communications
- ✕ Change creator account information
- ✕ Issue platform-wide Aura suspensions
Aura Safety Admin
- · Review reports, livestreams and chat messages
- · Remove violating content and end livestreams
- · Issue warnings, suspensions and permanent bans
- · Apply monetization restrictions
- · Review repeat violations and appeals
- ✕ Be assigned by creators — Aura Trust & Safety staff only
VIP never overrides safety
Member, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Crown users follow exactly the same guidelines. VIP status never grants moderation immunity, and moderators never see spending information when making a decision.
